The Malton is a beautiful Victorian hotel, located in the heart of Killarney town. A much loved Irish landmark, it has been welcoming visitors since 1854.This hotel is known for its distinctive architecture, effortless service and genuine hospitality. It is ideally located in Killarney town centre, right beside the railway and bus stations, yet on its own private grounds of six acres.

The main foyer with open fires, authentic coffee rooms and lounge provide great space to read a book, plan your day’s itinerary or indulge in Afternoon Tea, a grand tradition at The Malton since 1854.

Our guest accommodation includes 171 bedrooms; choose from a variety of suites, deluxe and standard rooms. The Garden Room Restaurant provides a unique dining experience with delicious food and friendly service, while overlooking the surrounding hotel garden. As members of Good Food Ireland, The Malton is committed to prioritising the core ingredients of Irish cuisine and promoting local and artisan food producers.

At the Innisfallen Health & Beauty Rooms we have a 15 metre Swimming pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Gymnasium and two outdoor Tennis courts. Within the gardens we have walkways and paths for leisurely strolls, a Children’s playground and our own herb and vegetable garden. Spacious and adaptable banqueting suites at The Malton allow us to cater for a wide variety of events from Weddings, Gala Dinners and Corporate Meetings. We are right beside the train station and for guest travelling by car onsite parking is available.
