With its superb 2200 seat INEC Venue hosting international acts and shows, and its many smaller concert and cabaret venues throughout the town, the visitor to Killarney is seldom without a top class entertainment option. Many of Killarney's Pubs also provide live music nightly ranging from Traditional Irish, Folk, C&W and even some Rock. For the late night owls, Killarney also a number of Late Night Venues. Throughout the year, Killarney also hosts a number of big Events and Festivals - two of the most popular being the Killarney Summerfest (July) and Christmas in Killarney (December). WALK KILLARNEY
FREE BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY DEER EXPERIENCE WALK WITH WALK KILLARNEY SUNDAY OCTOBER 30th
Join the Walk Killarney Guides for a Deer Experience Walk on Sunday October 30th in the wilderness between Mangerton & Torc mountains. The Walk is free, and will commence at the upper car park of Torc Waterfall at 09.30. with a short talk and display about Killarney's deer herds, followed by a guided walk through the highland home of Killarney's famous Red Deer. This is a moderate Category B Walk, requiring some hill walking experience and a normal level of fitness. Participants should wear walking boots, bring rain wear, snacks and drinks and of course cameras and binoculars. The duration of the walk will be approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. Even though the walk is free, those interested are asked to register in advance on 1850566466 or on walk@killarney.ie to ensure we have sufficient guides for the numbers participating.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20th – THE HAGS GLEN – Commences and finishes at Cronin's Yard and is a c. 8km trek ascending to c. 250 mtrs - A moderate B Category walk requiring normal hill walking levels of fitness. The walk will commence at 09.30. and the cost per head is €10. All the usual recommendations and requirements on suitable footwear, clothing, refreshments and fitness apply. WALK OFF THE "CHRISTMAS EXCESS" IN BEAUTIFUL KILLARNEY THIS YEAR
Celebrate Killarney's victory as Ireland's Tidiest Town 2011 and walk off the Christmas fare excess on December 27th with a fully guided walk through some of Ireland’s oldest oakwoods, on the slopes of Tomies Mountain. Overlooking the beautiful Lough Lein with stunning views of Inisfallen Island, Ross Castle and Killarney town. This is a "free" Christmas Gift Guided Walk in the company of knowledgeable and entertaining guides. It is a relatively easy hill trail walk with some gentle ascents, commencing at the lakeside near tomies at 10.00.am and should conclude within 3 hours - in time for a lunchtime resumption of the Christmas culinary delights.
