The Killarney Adventure Race is a one day multi adventure sport race.

This race gives competitors the chance to run, hike, cycle and kayak some of the most dramatic, breathtaking and remote scenery in the world.

There are 3 different routes options to suit all levels of fitness: 25km, 57km and 67km

You can enter either as an individual or as a 2/3/4 person relay team.

Bus transfer to start line
Registered competitors will arrive at Muckross House Killarney between 7.00am and 10.00am to be transported by coach to the start line.

There will be a staggered start i.e competitors will start in groups of 100, 30 minutes apart. Competitors will be informed by e-mail before the race what time to arrive at Muckross House for your coach transfer to the start line. Your wave start time is the time you must come to Muckross House.

There is ample car parking at Muckross house for all competitors.

Competitors will arrive ready to race with your dibber timing chip and race number attached.

Start line
The start line is approximately 20 minutes bus journey from Muckross House at the foothills of the MacGillycuddy Reeks.

Competitors must walk approximately 500 meters from the bus drop off point to the start line.

There will be toilet facilities at the bus drop off point.

All competitors must engage their dibber at the bus drop off point before the race starts.

The Race will start in waves of 100 people.

25Km Competitors
All 25Km route competitors must register in Kate Kearneys cottage on Friday the 3rd of October.

25Km route competitors must come to Muckross House on Saturday the 4th of October and rack up their bikes and attend the safety briefing before the race starts.

You will start in staggered waves at Muckross House.
